Wired Gaming controller or wireless adapter?

I would go wired just to avoid dealing with batteries (unless you have a recharging port for either batteries or the controller).

how do play xbox on your monitor?

There are a couple adapters that go from Xbox to vga/dvi, but none of these (including hdmi) transfer sound. You have to buy another adapter if you want sound. Overall it's like $30 and frustrating.

Stuck In Boot Loop On New Build

What are your temps? Fulling turning off sounds like a heat issue. Then power supplies are typically the next option. Seasonic is a great brand but even the best can be faulty. If you have another power cord to plug into the PSU/Outlet try using that, oddly enough this solved the same issue I...

Stuck In Boot Loop On New Build

I've had the exact same problem and what I learned from it is that it can be a multitude of different things. What ultimately solved my issue was reducing my RAM speed. Here's a list of my attempted fixes which could work for you: - Swapped PSUs - Swapped HDDs - Ran Windows 8, Windows Vistax32...

    Help me identify this chasis

That model is not even acknowledged on the Nokia website. Basic info: So basically "the invention features a system for the separation of wire pair transmission signals" Couldn't find much more info. The patent is 15 years old.

    Windows 8.1 vs 7

BF4 had a more dramatic effect due to poor optimization at first, but even now it has FPS differences between the systems. Depending on the game you can get 0-10FPS difference typically. It won't hurt in the worst cases and will be quicker in the best cases.

Should i get a High Quality PSU?

Seasonic is a great brand, as is Corsair. I haven't heard of FSP, and generally that's because the brand is bad. There are a few brands that are at the top, and the ones below it tend to fail or blow up after any stress. And I don't think your PSU is causing your GPU to overheat. Either it has...

    What PSU does this have?

Those two work together, just make sure the PC has an open PCI-e slot. Most do, but you can never trust factory build PCs to be upgrade-able. If you're adding a PSU and a GPU, I recommend looking into building your own PC. The reason why factory PCs are so cheap is because they don't include a...

    What PSU does this have?

You can safely assume it can't support your GPU. Most factory desktop PCs have around 300W, some even 250W. They are unreliable for any adding of extra components besides some RAM or HDD. They are as cheap as they get to keep the overall costs low. Plus they never include a 6 pin connector...

Is this a good brand of case fans?

CoolerMaster has good bang for your buck, as does Corsair. They aren't the best brands for fans but not bad by any means. I would imagine out of those two the Corsair would be higher quality.

    Replacing Processor in Laptop

I second the SSD. I upgraded from a triple core to a hexacore on my desktop and didn't notice a huge difference, then I picked up an SSD and the computer felt $600 better.

Which RAM speed (new build) ?

I was looking around and found this post http://www.overclock.net/t/1366657/ddr3-1600-vs-2133-is-there-a-difference-in-game Which the OP tests 1600 vs 2133 RAM in multiple games. The results varied on each game, some only having a 1FPS difference and others not so much. He described that the...

[Advanced] Driver issues causing random freezes/restarts

I reduced my RAM speed from 1333 to 800MHz and it did the trick. The thing is these issues can be caused by so many things.

Which RAM speed (new build) ?

They bring up good points. I'm not familiar with the pricing since last time I checked was a few months ago. I just know that speed itself will not dramatically change your gaming experience so it's not worth spending the extra money, in my opinion. Gskill/Corsair are the main brands but almost...
