    Okay, so now it is happening again and no longer accepting the correct user name at all. The weird thing is that it seems to be an intermittent and unreliable problem. I have re-enabled the link for the files on my Google Drive.

    So as it turns out all I had to do was enter my username into the prompt and leave the password field blank. Still weird that it was asking for credentials, but the problem appears to be solved now anyway.
