Just to be sure i did not recieve a dp cable with my monitor, i had to go buy one myself and i wasnt and still not a computer expert so i just got hdmi cables and only till recently i disocovered that my monitor was running on 60hz when i couldve ran on 144hz. And any dp to dp cable is ok...

Im using acer predator z35 which obviously suplorts 144hz and gtx 1070 but in my nvidia control panel, 60hz is the only hz option i have and im using a hdmi cable not sure if its 1.2 or 2.0 .
