Question Screens goes black when playing games, only way to reset is to restart/reboot PC ?

Hey, I'm not sure if you read my updated post above but reinstalling windows 10 didn't work. I'm still experiencing the problem but it only happens when playing Warframe. I stress tested my GPU using AIDA64 and Heaven Benchmark too to see if the GPU is dying but it did fine in those without...

Question Screens goes black when playing games, only way to reset is to restart/reboot PC ?

I recently came back home from college for summer break and my PC was basically sitting in my room for 4 months with no activity. The first thing I did was update all my drivers through Windows update in settings, my NVidia drivers to 552.22 and all other miscellaneous drivers through the third...

Question Screens goes black when playing games, only way to reset is to restart/reboot PC ?

Updating the bios didn't seem to do anything. Forgot to mention that I'm cooling my CPU with a AIO 280mm liquid cooler. I think at this point I might just do my tried-and-true method that fixed all my previous problems: reinstall Windows 10.

Question Screens goes black when playing games, only way to reset is to restart/reboot PC ?

Right now I have the Bios version F12k from January 2021 but theres a newer bios version that was released in January 2024. I'll try updating my bios to that to see if it fixes the problem. The power supply in my build was from 2019 so its older than most of the parts that I replaced in my...

[SOLVED] Using XMP profile causes reboots, Fallout 76 stops reboots

Update* So a little while after this, the random reboots started happening again and I started getting frequent bsods even after switching back to stock settings after trying to force the xmp profile to stay on for while. Assumed the problem to be a faulty motherboard and just upgraded to a...

[SOLVED] Using XMP profile causes reboots, Fallout 76 stops reboots

After installing all three drivers I no longer experience random reboots while putting my computer through light use. After running some CPU and Memory stress tests also, my computer hasn't gone through reboots either which makes me think I no longer need to launch Fallout 76 at startup to...

[SOLVED] Using XMP profile causes reboots, Fallout 76 stops reboots

I think I'm currently depending on the Windows supplied drivers atm. I'm pretty sure I dont have any of the Gigabye utilities drivers from the CD/DVD installed or website also. I've never updated the audio driver, intel chipset driver, or intel LAN driver before either, only the bios driver...

[SOLVED] Using XMP profile causes reboots, Fallout 76 stops reboots

In the past when I first got my 2080 Ti back in November 2018 I tried overclocking my CPU and using the built in XMP profile to reduce the bottleneck my system might cause. However, within 30 minutes to an hour my PC would reboot and revert back to default settings. So I tried just using the XMP...

MSI Afterburner shows my CPU power at low wattage

In the on screen display for hardware monitoring, my CPU power says its drawing from 15-20W which I feel like is incorrect. I have an i7-6800k OC'd to 4.1Ghz @ 1.275v so I was wondering if that power draw is correct or even accurate? When I watch benchmarking videos on youtube, I see youtubers...

Turns out it was because there wasn't enough power to support the SLI configuration lol
