in my opinion...I would go with the 4GB ...but also MSI has a 4GB version of its gtx 960...for the tiny few games that use more vram like shadow of mordor.

see if the pci lane your card is on is detecting the card.

two 760s are going to be faster than a single 970 but might give you more headaches in the long run.

sorry to hear your having problems did you try to reinstall windows? this helped me a few times when I had issues similar to yours...maybe try hdtune to read your HDD and run seatools to see if hdd controller is hanging the system and if you have an ssd make sure it got the latest...

your gaming laptop should have no reason to go to the crapper while playing witcher 3 its actualy stronger than my desktop pc and my pc can run witcher 3 on max no problem.

Your welcome buddy!...I try to stay away from laptops for gaming because of thermal issues and not able to upgrade Gpu on most of them,, unless you use an external Gpu.
