Ahh yes, you are correct. The line comes in and the amplifier acts as a splitter with two separate lines going to the VoIP modem and the data modem. Thank you, I will try that.

My father has been having a very slow/unstable internet connection. Sometimes the speed will drop under 5mb down, sometimes it won't connect at all. I ran a trace poll to 8.8.8.8 and came up with.... (Name, Address, Ping, Avg ping, Loss, Pkt complete, Pkt total, Best ping, Worst ping)...

Cold (intake) from front and/or bottom - Hot (exhaust) out from top and/or back. Always make a smooth flow pattern. That means you can't put one fan blowing against another. If it's pushing into or above, it's fine. Clear? I can post a picture of my setup if needed...

I think part of the negative is just peoples dislike of Seagate.

That PSU should be more than enough. Main supply is never an issue (it would trip the breaker). How are the temps? Please install CPUZ or HWMONITOR and report back with them.

Do you have automatic updates enabled? Is Office installed? Keep trying to get a screen capture of the box, even if some writing is missing.

Yes sounds like a voltage issue. Try upping it until you can get it stable in real world (gaming not synthetic test).

Try to reset the CMOS. If still no boot go into the BIOS and disable integrated graphics (using the original video port).

It can handle the card but the same issue remains.

What is it doing / not doing? Power connections all hooked up (as req.)? Secured in the PCI slot? BIOS settings?

Honestly with that system it wouldn't matter what GPU you install. The rest of the system will bottleneck it.

That voltage is too low for that clock unless you have a very very good chip. Just keep raising that voltage slowly until stable. If you set the clock to 4.4Ghz it will probably be more manageable. I can hit 4.4Ghz @ 1.290

That CPU usually needs around 1.4-1.5 to be stable at 4Ghz. What are your current settings?
