i just bought a new asus h310m cs r2.0 motherboard. I installed i3 8100 , 8gb corsair vengence 2400mhz ram, corsair 450W psu, 2x sata 7.2krpm 2x 5.4krpm HDDs, 3x 120mm fans, gtx 1660. my old motherboard died of failed bios update(gigabyte h310m h). but now this new motherboard just wont post...

This error means that there is no VGA detected , no display.

rtx support is going get better, companies like ubisoft and one more (i dont remember its name)have already begun working on the games with rtx and DLSS support.

Can you write the specific model cuz from what i hv seen, it doesnt support ddr4 memory , And ddr3 - 1600mhz is better than 1067mhz. And it has only one ram slot .

Which laptop do you have ? Also You can only use ram of either ddr3 or ddr4 at a time

make sure the drive isn't offline in the disk manager.

if you are using one m.2 and other sata ports are populated by your HDDs then it wont detect your 2nd m.2 drive since it requires a sata port to be disabled in order for an m.2 slot to work.

Its is not true, you can buy another ram stick at any time convenient for you but ram has to of the SAME frequency no more no less( if you have a 2400 Mhz ram then the another one should be of the same freq)(that is why they come in kits) Dual channel ram , discrete graphics card(not in SLI)...

This also happens when the game is full of bugs and no latest drivers are installed( well the driver part unlikely to dip the fps)

M.2 definitely offers more speeds and yea populated m.2 ports results in disabled sata ports. It is due to limitations of the mobo chipset. Dont worry about it.
