Ok so after further study (I went to LG's website and downloaded the manuals for the TV) I found out that the TV is not 120 HZ. You were right @getochkn (robot chicken lol). It is something called TrueMotion 120 HZ which means that it runs at 60 HZ, but adds an extra image in between the frames...
