How to connect ASUS RT-N66U to coax (Spectrum) internet?

An Asus what, router, modem, combined modem/router? It sounds like your current setup is a seperate modem and router. If this is the case, the coax screws into the back of the modem and the modem is connected to the router via ethernet. There is no way to screw a coax cable into a router unless...

    TV won't accept new HDMI

How old is your HDMI cable? It's possible you will need a HDMI 2.0 cable in order to get 4K, especially over longer distances. Try monoprice.com or your favorite place for cables. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-jVH3j1CGlNC/learn/learningcenter/home/cables/hdmi.html

    Acronis True Image Uninstall

If you've already run the uninstaller and it's left files behind, you should simply be able to delete the folder the remaining files are in or the files themselves. Not all uninstallers are good at cleaning up after themselves.

Computer screen goes off and sometimes it won't come back on after a couple hours. Sleep mode is off

This happens to me occasionally. I don't guarantee this will work for you, but it works for me every time. Hit CTRL-ALT-DEL. This forces the video on and should bring up the window for lock computer, logoff, shutdown,... Select "cancel" and the video should remain on.

Avast free locking files on network shares

I've been running updates daily hoping a fix is released, but each time it says I'm running the newest version. If you look at my first post I do say I uninstalled and reinstalled avast when I first encountered the problem. With other people reporting the same issue, I have to believe it's an...

is the gtx 1050 compatible with my specs?

A 300W power supply meets the bare reqirements, but you'll probably want some overhead for future drives/components. Complete specs can be found here.

Avast free locking files on network shares

I always do a custom install and disable all but the shields. I even uninstalled/reinstalled. I'm only running the file shield (disabled for now), web shield, mail shield, and behavior shield.

Avast free locking files on network shares

Is anyone else having issues with the newest version of avast free version 17.2.2288 (build 17.2.34190)? I'm using this on a legacy XP SP3 computer. Anytime I create/copy/move a file onto a network share, it will lock the file and make it inaccessable to programs. I've tried this on network...

    RAID 1 Hot Spare

If your motherboard or current RAID contoller doesn't support RAID 1 with a hot spare, then you are out of luck. You will need to purchase a contoller with that option if that is really what you want. RAID 1 isn't as cost effective as some other RAID types either. That said, I see no need for...

Boot order saves in bios.bios is saved in rom. Rom is a read only memory.Rom is read only memory. How will save on rom?

Unless your computer is from the 80's, the BIOS is not stored on a ROM. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BIOS Originally, BIOS firmware was stored in a ROM chip on the PC motherboard; in modern computer systems, the BIOS contents are stored on flash memory so it can be rewritten without removing...

    PS4 hdd upgrade

The ps4 can only use 2.5" dives that are 9.5mm in height or less. I just got this drive for my son's PS4 recently and helped him install it. I know you asked for a 1TB drive and this one is 2TB, but it was a good price...
