I tried GPT and MBR :) The NAS is working perfect wih a 2TB internal HD inside so there's no issue with the NAS itself I think

I have a Buffalo Linkstation 220DE, I have my 4tb external Mybook harddrive. When I try to attach it via USB, it is not working. The linkstation cannot format it by itself (I get a fault when I try). I tried formatting the HDD in NTFS, FAT32, Removed all partitions but nothing worked. Anybody...
