That CPU is pretty weak. FCP is no GTA but still requires a decent enough CPU. You will be able to run it at low settings at playable fps. Also, you didn't mention what resolution your monitor is?

No Fanboy but- Intel>AMD in almost every aspect. you can build a pretty powerful Intel build for $2k that will easily beat any amd rig.
