I got my first nvm ssd today. Benchmark score is decent ( read:3170 mb/s , write: 2573 Mb/s), but why does it perform so bad, when transferring files or starting programs? Sometimes even hovering around 8mb/s. I updated all drivers. Tried both NVMe slots and in BIOS changed device...

So i took the risk and put the GPU back in without the soundcard, no reboots or any other issues. But could a PSU be faulty and kill other parts?

I used the PC for about two days now, without the soundcard and the GPU everything works fine. I dont have the Sound driver installed. That might be the problem. I am just worried about the dying parts. Is this normal? This is my first self build PC, which i build in July 2018.

I have a PRIME Z270-A, I didnt install the Driver yet, because i am still retrieving the data from the hdd . Ok, i will do so after retrieving some of the important data.

I have a new Problem now XD. When ever i start my PC and log in, it restart on its own once and works fine after. It doesnt bother me, but makes me afraid, that something is wrong with some Hardware again.

Thank you very much, you are right its the SSD. But what bothers me is, my SSD is less than 2 years old. so why did it fail? It wasnt cheap too. It is a ASATA SSD Ultimate SU650. Sometimes (once in 2 months) over the years my PC would restard on its own. So could it be that my Power Supply...

Do you guys think i could delete everyting on the HDD, install Windows on there and retrive the Date later with a software to check if the SSD or the Motherboard is malfunctioning, instead of buying a SSD or a Motherboard?

Tried it, but this errormessage came up: no partition could be created and there is none.

The ssd is showing in the bios yes i think so too. i took it out, but i couldnt get past boot either with the hdd as first in order.
