I'm running windows 8.1 and it happens with other games too that use SLI, could it be a mobo problem?

AMD FX 9370 gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 GTX 760 SLI In games that I use SLI, like battlefield 4, my fps drops from 90-110 to 20-30ish for a bit and then returns to normal. I think the culprit is my CPU as when these drops occur there's a dip in my cpu usage then returns to normal after the fps drop...

It does lag alot (sometimes dips down to 50 ish) , and every fps counts in a competitive game like CS:GO, if your system used to run faster and now its performance has dropped a lot wouldn't you want to fix it? Don't comment unless its a useful comment, it will save my time and yours.

Oh and my frames have been dropping only in CS:GO, BF4 and my other games still run good

AMD-FX 9370 GTX 760 SLI I used to get around 200-250 FPS in CS:GO but now I only get around 80-110. My temps are great, around 30-40c when gaming. I don't know what the problem is and please don't give me any BS about how 80-100 fps is good enough, I want my PC to run as fast as it can.

Thanks! When I was a scrub about pc componets I bought the gayest psu ever ( Thermaltake brand ) Now problems are happening in higher demanding games. My PC would just crash and it was my shitty PSU's fault.

My setup is GTX 760 SLI and a AMD FX 9370, Im upgrading my power supply does a EVGA supernova 850G2 Sound good?
