    Small Form Factor Build

I am looking for small form factor build (going for 15L or less, and the case should be 8 pounds or less). Also if you saw, I am not overclocking the CPU. The 6700K is there, because it has a better speed. Also I am trying to get away from cube designs, since I may be working with less desk...

    Small Form Factor Build

So I am looking at building a SSF "higher end gaming" pc. I will be looking into getting a 1080Ti to replace my 970, when they come out. Also this won't be just for gaming. I will also be doing some development work, so that is why i have the 32 GBs and an i7. I don't plan to overclock, but I...

    PG279q vs XB271HU

So here is my current rig (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PpMQt6). It should be able to play games around 60 fps, and I probably be getting new parts for it (IE upgrade to an 3770K/3770 and maybe get a pascal if its a huge bump up (maybe even look at the 1080ti when it comes out). Also I primarily...

Xeon or i7 for gaming under $900? No overclocking

So I am helping a friend build a PC. She wants to have a 4 core/8thread minimum machine for under $900. The i7 limits the budget heavily, and I have heard Xeons before just as good as some i7 (I have never personally done it). She will NOT be overclocking. She also said to look at getting a GTX...

    Worth to upgrade for i7-3770?

You will definitely get better fps with the GTX 970. I am running a i5 3570K and a gtx 970 and can run all my games on ultra and get great fps. I don't think CS:GO is a game that really benefit with getting more threads vs a much better GPU. Though your cpu usage does seem high to me.

Tom's Hardware Readers Pit G-Sync Vs FreeSync In Weekend Battle

I would love to have gone (sadly this was on the other side of the country for me). I actually been looking at both of these monitors. Both are pretty much exactly what I am looking at (1440p, 144Hz, and IPS). I am really interested in reading the article about both these monitors. And if...

< NEW Build PC for gaming >

I have no idea what you need. If you need a Case, PSU, and Motherboard. You need to give usa all the other compontents you do have. 120 isn't a whole lot to work with (but for 3 compontents, it will definitely work out). But no one can really help you without knowing the CPU, RAM (debatable but...

A couple of problems with the power up of my semi built pc.

I am not 100% sure, but I would go with you still need RAM to run a PC. I doubt anything will be able to run without it. Just build your pc completely (CPU, RAM, MOBO, and PSU is technically all that is needed for a working pc). Also I don't think there should be any issue with the wiring. As...

    Best PC Case?

Here is the thing. Get what you like the most. With cases its more about how it looks more than anything. Most of these cases should have cable management. But the case is all about how it looks to you. I went out and bought the Corsair 750 D because of its size and how it looks. I do recommend...

    Which one should I pick

I would definitely say your current specs. The only thing better is the RAM and storage space. Though it does matters what you are doing. If you are just gaming then ohhh man keep your current specs for sure.

Best build for my budget for gaming.

How much do you have? I am guessing you don't plan to overclock either.

    First build advice needed

I am not sure if you can do a hackintosh with a G3258. But I think you are spending too much on your motherboard. You might want to go with a cheaper Z97 and then spend the extra in the GPU. Look at ASrock Z97 anniversary or pro 4. Those are usually at a good price. That way you can probably...

    First build advice needed

Do you already own a 750Ti? also what is your budget for the components you need? Do you want to overclock? Right now I would have to say a Pentium G3258 is your best bet and overclock it (probably to 4.7). You won't need case fans normally so spend some extra and get a nice cooler. I say maybe...

    First build advice needed

.... I am trying to understand your budget. So you can only go up to £100 for each component. Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend that kind of budget. Things like CPUs will cost significantly more than things like cooler, fans, and RAM. What is your total budget?
