I saw a post here in the forum describing the exact same noise from the motherboard (Gigabyte Z490 AORUS XTREME). Sounds a bit like an old hard drive, but I only have M2 SSD installed. It seems that the crackling noise occurs during data transfer. Unfortunately, this thread has not been active...
