I have that CPU it's not that goood but if you don't won't to upgrade motherboard an i7 4790k would be a great choice as you don't have to go from lga 1150 to 1151

200 fos probs but with some optization u could hit 350 but there is not point unless u have a high Hz monitor like 144hz or higher

Maybe if ur playing games like bf1 which are CPU intensive with an extreme bottleneck but in more all rounded games it would be well worth it or you could go with the 1050 ti or even a 1060 as the 970 is heavily outdated now.

Good Choices all round I have also purchased that case as it has good cable managment and just a overall beast The 1080 will crush 1080p gaming and it also will stand up to high settings 4K] Overall love the build PS might be buying it myself
