will an x16 video card work to full, or at least reliable capacity if running on a hardware based x8 link, IE a full length an x8 slot. were talking pci-e 3.0 x16 cards in a pci-e 3.0 x8 length slot. I do not understand how a video card will run if not all the pins are being utilized on a slot...
