So its 30% faster than gtx 1060 (a 3 year old card), and it costs 40% more. I don't understand how Nvidia plans on selling mid-range cards that offer less value than their 3 year old predecessors.

Let me know when I can buy 10tb SSDs to fill my 5 bay NAS, for the same price as current 10tb HDDs. If you need massive storage, the cloud is to expensive and slow, and SSDs are too expensive. SSD reliability is a tad overstated. In a raid setup, HDD remain the practical choice.

So Apple is rewarded for it's caged IOS ecosystem, and Google is punished for its open Android ecosystem. Seems fair?
