Ok so I ran the memtest a few times just now- First on my original configuration just to see what I should expect. Test took about 10 minutes and there were no errors. I then took out that RAM stick and added one of the G.Skill (in the same slot) and ran the test. Immediately after booting...

Update 2: I was able to get to the BIOS screen with 1 stick of RAM, but not boot. The BIOS screen would show me that the 4GB was install. Then I would exit the BIOS screen and attempt to start the computer and I would get the blue screen of death telling me that there were changes in hardware...

Update: I was able to boot by using 1 stick of the new RAM. I am now looking into the advice around an "XMP Profile" based off of this link - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems
