Thank you so much! Called my ISP and turns out due to a "clerical error" they gave me the wrong router! I got my new one and I am at 2.5gbps now!

I went into network settings in windows 11 and changed my speed to 2.5gbps full duplex and restarted pc and no change. Still capped at 1000mbps.

I just replaced my cat 5e cable with a cat6a cable. I am paying for 3gbps down but my windows wont set my link speed higher than 1000mbps. I tried a second cable and same results. I restarted my PC and the Router/Modem combo and nothing is changing. I also do not see any driver updates on device...

There is no setting to make them automatically generate that I can find. This currently seems to be working. Is there any downside to doing this?

Yes that router. There are 0 logs as ive said.

Currently my DNS is set manually to 8.8.8.8 and IPv6 is turned off. I will update if it goes out again tomorrow.

There are no logs in firewall, system or event logs in my router settings other than me logging in.

I do not see anywhere in router settings to change my DNS. What settings do I put in for the rest of the boxes in the settings for ipv4?

I am able to get into the router when it is hung.
