yea the slots on the bottom work fine for the new ram and the old. Ive tested them all and as soon as i add one stick to the under the keyboard slots the screen goes black.

Thats correct, I can get the two underneath the laptop to work just fine but as soon as I put a stick in the easy access one under the keyboard the screen wont display.

i will try doing one of each and see if it boots. I called asus and they said it takes 1333 Mhz of the 1.5V ram. However both crucial and best buy told me to get the unbuffered 1.35V ram. Just A side note I have 4 sticks of 1333Mhz 1.5 gb ram that I tried and the same thing happend. I have a 64...

I just got ram that I bought off of the crucial website after they scaned my computer for what I could use. I ended up getting 4 sticks of 4gb unbuffered 1.35V 1600 ddr3. I installed it and now my screen wont display anything. It is very frustrating please help! Asus G53S i7 quad core
