Thanks, I see your logic. Something is bad on the CPU circuit I agree. But could it still be the PSU or any thing else on that circuit that is causing the trip?

How can I check and confirm this beofre buying a new mother board? Could it be anything else? thanks

I have a H510 with Asus x570 tuf gaming + wifi, 6800xt graphics card and 5900x amd processor. All has worked well on my build that is less than 6 months old, until yesterday. System had been on light use for about 10mins, went to make a coffee and came back and only the rgb lights were on! Tryed...
