Question SATA HDD Not Recognised in Windows however is displayed in BIOS

Okay so I got my adaptor back and yes you would have been correct I believe with the first answer it must use a different file formatting system, somewhere in properties it did mention SCSI, whether that is at all related. In order to move it to SATA inside the PC I backed up the data currently...

Question SATA HDD Not Recognised in Windows however is displayed in BIOS

Hello All, So currently I run Windows off of a 1TB MX300 and I use some SSD's in RAID 0 for general games etc. While I don't really record my gameplay I do like the idea of having shadowplay running just incase, so rather than having it write to the SSD's I have been using an old 500GB...

Changing RAM speeds in bios.. help!

Yeah that is how you set the timings, was not sure how it would be displayed. Change the command rate at the bottom to 2 (that is what the 2N meant). As for the speed I said the wrong thing leave that on auto. Goto Frequency/voltage control>Memory configure>DRAM frequency (second down) and...

How many watts above estimated power usage PSU should I get?

Corsair CX are fine PSU's however if you do want to overclock you should go for something higher up the corsair range, or seasonic's range

How many watts above estimated power usage PSU should I get?

that PSU should be more than enough it will be around 360Watt should always go 20% more to be safe. EDIT: it depends on what make of GPU you plan to use (EVGA, ASUS) what HDD's, also fans and the motherboard, at least push the wattage up to 400 Watt. Also you do not mention what RAM you will use

    Is this build compatible? Help

Well done svk that is the third time you have said 4th gen will not work with z67 we all knew that from the start. I believe the build should be fine (dependant on the cooler fitting) also I did take back the speech about getting haswell insted as I did not see what you said at the start.

    Is this build compatible? Help

Chris sorry if I misread but start a new thread with that question. Uplink_svk what do you not understand about what I said about 3rd and 4th gen. Also it is z67 2nd gen. Z77 3rd gen. Z87 4th gen. Z97 5th gen and 4th gen (launched for devil's canyon)
