    8GB Fast or 16GB Slow?

I would go 8gb Fast. I lent 8 of my 16gb to a friend for 4 months. I forget he even had it until he dropped it back to me. games it wont matter, only if your doing lots of CAD, Virtual Machines or 3D design

Hi, No the secondary card does not need to be flashed or modified in any way to be used in or out of crossfire.

SATA SSD vs SAS HDD in 12 node cluster

I really don't think your grasping the idea of uptime. Raid 0 is a real no no in enterprise. it just takes 1 disk failure or not work correctly to corrupt or lose the entire array. yes you could have backups but its still going to take you hours / days to rebuild the array and restore the data...

from 32 to 64 Bits upgrade

I found the same thing. I expect its either an X800 or a X1900 or its a proprietary card produced specifically to a single vendor only Kind of like the ATI 8790 (all of the ATI 8000 range is only available via OEM manufactures)

SATA SSD vs SAS HDD in 12 node cluster

No they will not handle it. Not only that but how long do you have to wait for a replacement? there is not guaranteed replacement time. Who make the storage cluster? im sure they are able to offer upgraded drives with SLA warranties and turn around times. In business its equally about speed as...

    Sapphire R9 270X dual-X overclocked

no but I would consider modifying the voltage to achieve an over clock to be a mid or high range overclocking and would only recommend this for short periods like benchmarking. Try just a mild over clock without modifying the voltage and see how it goes.

    Smooth And Fast?

Tiny voices. best practice is to redirect the home directories (My Docs, Downloads, Pictures, Music & etc) to the larger spindal drive. that way they can continue to use it like normal and fill it with what ever and the SSD stays fairly clear. Right Click these folders and go to the location...

Toxic & MSI 280x Crossfire scenario.

yes unless you overclock the slower card the faster one is forced to match the slower card's speed. you can look at using sapphire's TRIXX program as it has the option to match the overclock for both cards in crossfire. GPUz is what i use to monitor my vid cards also. NOTE: you have to run a...

7770 dead or slave card locked?

What size power supply is it? It could be power limitations There is no such thing as slave card. each card should work fine on it's own regardless of if its been in crossfire before or not. Try your 2nd card in a friends computer on its own. The Bottom or 2nd card in a crossfire...

    3 Monitors - 2 graphics cards

yes you defiantly can do that as long as your motherboard supports 2 graphics cards. guide to mulit-monitors here http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-803443/eyefinity-setup-guide.html otherwise you can use an active display port to connect all 3 to the primary card. If you are having...

    Installing Windows Help

Yes thats right you can reinstall windows on the primary partition without having to touch the secondary. For windows and programs i would allow ~200gb as things like office or other programs will have to be installed on the primary partition with windows because even if they are on a 2nd drive...

    Sapphire R9 270X dual-X overclocked

All overclocking comes with a risk. its is commonly accepted that over clocking will most likley reduce the lifespan of an item. the more agressive the overclock the quicker it deteriorates. This can be offset by better cooling. It will also depend on how often you have your computer on or...
