Also get prime95 and HWmonitor installed before you begin to OC..
We need to make sure you're processor isnt throttling at the moment BEFORE we start.
both software are free
Also interested what your 6300 is using on its Vcore stock at load
Yes in the bios...
You're mainly concerned with the Bus Frequency And the CPU Ratio..
You need to disable all auto OC from the board and set everything to manuel..
Dont forget to adjust the cpu voltages in SMALL increments (VCore)
So u have CnQ Disabled correct??
I would maybe even downclock...
have you disabled CnQ and Turbo?
And you cant adjust the Voltage at all?
You might have a 'extreme overclocking' setting to enable kinda similar to my ROG CVFZ
after turning off CnQ and AMD turbo try setting voltage on the vcore to manual and not auto.. maybe your PSU isnt delivering..
BTW what is the psu?
Then id set everything to manual w.o an OC with a slight voltage bump.
i was finally able to get it boosted a little more.. i simply had too much on my voltage and it was getting to hot..
adjusting it to 1.400v and i got it up to 4.6GHz with a little tweaking so far prime stable for 2hrs.
very impressed with this little guy! 3.2GHz stock up to (so far) 4.6GHz...
well i have also noticed that playing starcraft 2 its unstable within about 15 mins..
my last known good OC is 4.4GHz @ 1.428v 20.0 ratio and 220 Bus... and my temps hit 70ish with out any issues whatsoever
Hey i am starting a new build for fun with a BD FX 8140. This processor hasnt been very OC friendly.
First my VCore is pretty high..trying to get the highest possible OC on this thing i possibly can...
its on another Crosshair V-Z.
When running Prime95 for about 30mins into it my clock speeds...
I recently just bought a corsair 760T on CL for a steal of $60!!!! :D
BUTtttt.... it didnt come with any SSD or HDD trays :(
Ive been on corsairs store and cant seem to find any...
Does the 600T use the same/similar tray mount???
Cheers
ok thank you...
have you done 3d modeling yourself?
i planned on originally just doing 3D modeling at first... as a step...
you wouldnt recommend that?
i only want to make a 3D picture on Blender before anything...
