Wow, thanks for the info I found corsair LPX 2400 16gb for 50 euros less. That's a big save! it seems i5 - 8400 is the best buy since 8600 is 60 euros more expensive!

Thanks for the info, since 4k is the plan, 8400 is like 30-40 euros less.. I am using AMD at the moment, but I want to try Intel this time (i don't hate AMD). I might spend more and get a bigger SSD instead.

I did automatic overclock from my bios, my motherboard can do that ( M4A87TD/USB3 ). I can select to overclock as 955,965 and 3.6 GHz and motherboard overclock it. I did select 965 - 3.4GHz. Same story with HWinfo :(
