Question PC refuses to POST when GPU is in PCIE 4.0 x16 slot, but works in a lower bandwidth slot ?

I've used the BIOS Flashback feature on my motherboard, apparently my BIOS version is from 2023. Now it's updated, July 2024. I've plugged the gpu into the x16 4.0 slot and.. it didn't POST, again. The VGA debug LED is still turning on and there's no signal out.

Question PC refuses to POST when GPU is in PCIE 4.0 x16 slot, but works in a lower bandwidth slot ?

I don't have an M.2 SSD. It's a SATA III SSD you mean the gpu or the ssd? if you mean the gpu, right now it's in the lower x16 slot, since this motherboard has 2 x16 slots, the one with steel armor and the one below it i might try that but im not really sure.

Question PC Death - Mobo or PSU failure?

Yes that PSU. The seller that sold me this pc used didn't specify for how long the PC was used. I assume it failed because the PSU is extremely poor quality (not even a single 80+ rating i assume it can't even handle 600w worth of power) I also can't really borrow a PSU from somebody since I...

Question PC Death - Mobo or PSU failure?

So, about yesterday, I was running Terragen which is a heavily cpu dependant 3D rendering software, was playing around with the render settings and stuff and didn't notice how hot the CPU was getting during all the viewport rendering process. I don't have particularly good cooling solution for...
