well than what do you propose i do? buy a large enough ssd so that i can clone the hdd onto it? or is there something else that you think is best?

under load, like gaming for example, a cpu can quite easily thermal throttle over 100C, more so if your on a laptop as cooling isn't as efficient, the only thing i could suggest is play less demanding games or turn down your settings so its smoother and less demanding for your laptop

so i checked the beep codes and it was a dimm being weird but it worked fine after being re-seated but now its a new beep, two beeps not prolonged in quick succession, it could be nothing but just wanted to check

so i have an old optiplex 755 sff that my firned gave me and now its boot cycling with an orange light on the mobo and loud beeps beofre rebooting, does anyone know what could be happening?
