Is an ASUS notebook A541U and it has a single Samsung M471A5244CB0-CRC 4GB stick. So, I opened my brothers ASUS laptop for dust cleaning and found out that it only haves a Samsung 4gb 1Rx16 on a single existing slot, instead of the 12GB the OS and the the manufacter anounces. Is it really 12GB RAM or is ASUS missleading the costumers and cheating on the OS?

UPDATE: i've ran some programs to bench the computer, and it doesnt seam to be either RAM or heat problems
