screen is still flashing and now has terrible tearing issues randomly as well. Again this issue is only while using a pc of some kind.

used speedfan to also verify temp, i noticed intiailly because the fans just started spinning faster and faster at the desktop. i hope the pump wouldnt be out after a year...

it could either be a defective part like dunlop0078 suggested, or depending on the watts of your power supply and what you're trying to run, it could just be too weak. Pcpartpicker has a good tool for estimating what your power usage would be like so you can buy the appropriate power supply...

ok so my idea would be to scrap the idea of building a "gaming pc" and due to their lack of knowledge of computers you could put together a pc that you say is for graphics design, or network building, even art, and in reality put some decent gaming components as long as it doesnt look too...
