Question PSU for 3080 Ti configuration ?

Hi there, I purchased an RM850x (2021) for the purpose to upgrade my GPU to a 3080ti. What I've seen on the post is that you need 3 separate PCIe connectors and the RM850x(2021) only came with 2 + 4 daisy-chained Can I use 2 + 1 daisy daisy-chained as seen below?

    Question Motherboard updating

IMO risking fTMP problems is safer than bricking his MB. Like I said before I can only go by his information and not what if's...? I'm not saying X will solve Y, just giving him a safer route as he is committed to updating his bios without knowing the issue. Requote:

    Question Motherboard updating

I'm just going by his information, and concerns about the risk of bricking his MB. The least aggressive approach is to disable fTPM to see if thats the case, if not then it's not the fTPM bug Also, his information has little to no details of his symptoms or pc specs, but it looks like he's...

    Question Motherboard updating

It's an idea to isolate the problem and the safest route without concern of bricking his MB bios. Also, we don't know his PC specs as this only affects AMD chips Source: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-410

To only know that fTMP is the problem, the safest way is to disable fTMP in the BIOS.

Question Trying to figure out the cause of a dying GPU ?

IMO the easiest way to test the GPU is at fault is to insert it into another system to see...

Had the same errors, changing my PSU fixed it. It may be the same or not, also is your PSU bought second-hand or brand new?

Question Used Asus RTX 3070 works though fans don't spin?

I think it's the stutter bug from TPM, I tried to switch to ftpm to dtpm but my bios reset it and go back to ftpm.

Question Used Asus RTX 3070 works though fans don't spin?

Have you tried any utility software to spin the fans? Also pretty much all GPU fans don't spin until they hit a temperature threshold.
