For me to compare it more closely with my system, I would need to know what all of your settings are in Crysis 3. I get 30-37 FPS, with most settings on high. System i7 930 2.8Ghz 6 GB Vengance RAM eVGA GTX 460 Everything is stock clocked.

Why 2TB as a boot drive? I would splurge on maybe an OCZ 128GB SSD, and throw in a couple of spare HDD's for storage.

In addition to the above, how about spyware / malware protection. Spybot Malwarebytes Grab a program called rkill. Run it before you do a scan with you spy/malware suite. It should kill the resident spy/malware and enable the suites to do their job.

I concur, I did this also with my second machine. Went from 6400+ with onboard to X-3 with a GT 220 (which was not really a good choice), then I put my old 8800 GTS in and bam! The girlfriend is now playing Crysis with me online. I am happy.

Alright, what did I miss? The 6770 from the chart above, look to me, like it is barely on parr with the 5870. Sure it has some pluses, but why would I go out and spend more money on the newer card when I could get the same performance out of the older one? Not that I know the first damn thing...
