I got the 2nd drive working!
Thanks SO much!
The first one, I can't seem to locate the 12V diode. Maybe it's just faded out... which one is it in that pic?
How would you recommend I remove that diode? Just pull it off with some cutters? And just to make sure, the diode is the black square sticking up, right?
Is the soldering part absolutely necessary for the power to come back on?
Thanks for your patience! I'm such a noob at all this.
Here is the second drive..

I took out the PCB.. there's quite a bit here.. can you help me cut the right one?
Sorry man. I didn't get this notification.
No I am not a mac user. However, I am incredibly new at all this hardware stuff.
Thanks for being patient with me. So, I basically just need to remove the PCB and remove the diode, then put the PCB back in.
I'll try.. Thanks man.
Here are some pics I took..

I don't know what's going on, but I am having SERIOUS issues with my Seagate hard drive.
A regular internal (3.5) drive that I have been using on a VERY light basis will not power on. Thought it was the enclosure, so I put it into another enclosure. Nope. Not working
When I unplugged the hard...
Looking for a good 1080 monitor for gaming. Not really too versed on the displays so help would e appreciated. Currently using a 28" i-inc 1920 x 1200 resolution screen. It's not bad by any means, but I'm seeing lines roll up along the screen and it's kind of annoying. Plus the image quality...
I know.. I just feel AMD shot themselves in the foot with this release.
Are there any rumours about non-reference cards as of now? Right now, a 780 HOF/Lightning/Classy are looking mighty good..
I'm really not understanding why it's taking such a long time for any word to even be announced for either of this. Has there been any official word about these? I will take a Wind Force, Direct CU2, or whatever.. just something instead of those piece of crap reference coolers.
In comparison...
I want one of these.. no, TWO of these. I want them BAAAAADLY.
But I am concerned about the heat and the noise. How bad is it? What do I have to do to keep it cool and quiet? I don't know how to watercool and I certainly don't know how to replace the cooler.
How bad is it? I know the...
About to get a 780 Ti and would like to sell my current card out soon. I am selling this for 220 dollars, shipped. I haven't overclocked it beyond maybe an hour or two. I run it on stock (yes, I know this is a terrible waste for such a strong card)
The box, the sleeve, and EVERYTHING that came...
