So I am playing on getting a thermaltake 530W semi modular psu and these are my specs: fx 6300 r9 280 1 hdd 1 ssd 3-4 fans I want to overclock the cpu from 3.5 to 4.2Ghz and the gpu as high as i can get it to run stable. Will this psu be enough for my system?

I dont really trust those sites because the numbers seem unreal

Maximum with OC is like 400 watts if i have done it right,but it has no option for GPU overclocking and i did put it on 90% system load which is on a really heavy load and almost impossible to reach while gaming

I dont really care about fans...,i know how to find a decent one.

Does overclocking need that many more watts? And as i mentioned a guy with that much stuff on his pc on full load he had only that low power usage.

A pc with water cooling,12 fans,gtx 970,intel i7 i cant remember which one but heavily oced and led lighting strips running at max load 380 watts

Maybe i should have mentioned that i will use this pc for about 3 years and i will upgrade the gpu then to pass it to my little brother.For now will it do the job with 500W and could you suggest a decent PSU for cable management,i have a budget build as you may have noticed.

I never heard about Seasonic and do you really think i need 620 Watts for my system?Even if i upgrade my gpu will I need that much more Watts?

Yes but I am not planning on doing huge changes on the current build,only a GPU maybe,could you suggest any good PSUs that have enough Watts and are good for cable management? edit:no fanboys or people that will suggest a low-quality cheap PSU
