yes it is a good card for 1080p for upto 2 years max maybe, to be future proof (3 years or more) - I'd say go for the 1070..

is it GB or Gb in the table?? GB is GigaByte and Gb is Gigabit.. can anybody please confirm?

are you using an aftermarket CPU? since when it is? what's the TIM you're using? maybe there's a bad software that's consuming the CPU resources? what's the clock speed at which it is running when idle?

PSU - maybe.. but since your PC boots up fine and all, the possibility is higher with GPU.. try to use Guru3D's Driver Sweeper by booting into safe-mode and uninstall the AMD drivers & fresh install the nVidia drivers.. if that doesn't work, try to reinstall windows..

you can use any monitor.. preferably the same one from Acer if you can find.. there's nothing like it.. I had a LG Flatron 2724.. it was great..

so, a generic question.. what's the big deal with the DDR4 except higher clocks & lower power consumption, I don't actually see any improvement in games (1-2 fps) and I also saw that the DDR4 is cheaper than the DDR3!!!
