Well it's not bad but if you plan to play games in 2K, it will be too rough for your current GPU.

Are you planning on using a monitor connected to your laptop? If so your laptop has no possible chance of running 1440p. You'll need at least a GTX 1070 which is 861% better than the 840M. And that will lead to a more powerful CPU, mobo, RAM, etc. for stability.

I get your point, but I just checked the audio specifications of my current motherboard and it has Realtek® ALC1150. Might as well go for something that is better. I'm going with the SLI one because who knows if I'll be interested in the future in doing SLI. Thanks for helping me out!

I'll need to ask you some questions: Is the resolution on the 24" 2048×1080 or 2560×1440? I assume the 25" is 1080p. If it is 1440p can your GPU handle it? And what panel is the 24"?
