    The cooler doesn't show up in Link/iCue, as everything was working perfectly before, I didn't bother to look at the speeds in the BIOS.

    The pic shows fan speed as 0, is that supposed to be the pump RPM? The water cooler doesn't show up in Corsair Link.

    Tried both reseating and applying new thermal paste before , problem still persists.

    CPU reaches 100C when idle, all the fans are working along with the radiator fans. I own a Corsair H100i v2 and i7-8700K. Here's my BIOS monitoring details if it's of any use. https://m.imgur.com/a/WtFbfbN What could've caused this prob?

    Should I just keep it the way it is now or do I rip off the metal plate for a little breathing room for the bottom of the GPU.

    It was the heatsink, I used a fair amount of force and now it went in the 1st slot and also touching the heatsink, the whole heatsink is not level, at the top it has a metal plate which is the prob. Thanks for the help guys.

    Not sure what's preventing the installation in the first slot, I tried mounting it for 15 min doing everything I can but it just wouldn't go in, it just smoothly went into the 2nd slot the first try though.

    Apparently some GPUs fit and some don't, like the issue with AORUS 1080 Ti hitting the AMP-UP Audio Shroud. I never saw an issue with Strix OC though. Is there a way for the middle slot to run at x16?
