I'm changing the heatsink and fan on my P4 for a better model, as I was just using the Intel one which came bundled with it. This uses a heatpad on the bottom. How should I go about removing the heatsink from the CPU?? I am terrified of wrenching the CPU out of its socket, bending wires, etc...

I have set up a wireless network whereby 3 systems use a wireless router to connect to the Internet. The router assigns them IPs via DHCP, with the router being the only system to have a static IP address. The Internet works fine, but I cannot get file sharing to work. All have MS Sharing etc...

I need to upgrade my system and want to put the fastest speed memory supported in it, obviously. However, I don't know what speed the system can support. Compaq support have of course been totally useless. Is there a way I can find out which speed of (DDR) memory to use?

I am currently getting together a new system with the idea to upgrade to the 2600+ when it comes around in a few motnhs time. However, will it use the same socket as the 2200+?? Bascially form an upgradeability point of view - I don't want to get a whole new motherboard then find it doesn't work...
