Okay, I guess just powering off my PC isn't something I supposed to do. I'll try to do a few boot-up, use it for a while, then shut down cycles and see if the behavior goes away, before I take some further measures (also to avoid accidentally creating new problems).

I'll check the PSU connections then stop worrying about it unless something goes haywire. Hopefully, it's not a PSU problem since it's a new Seasonic G750w. Thanks for the replies!

Hi, I have a new PC (less than a month old). After being plugged-in & pushing the power button, it starts for a sec (fans spinning, lights on), then turns off by itself for like 1-2 sec (fans stop spinning, lights off), then finally starts again all the way to boot then log-in screen. I can't...

That's too bad since it's brand new. I contacted them and now waiting for response. I successfully took out the busted fan controller out of the case. It seems that the melted glue came from the glue used for the magnet near the fan controller, that serves as the magnet for front door closure.

Thanks. I contacted both BitFenix and Fractal Design. I'm looking to remove the busted fan controller from the case. Do you think the fans that were connected to the controller were harmed in any way when it overheated as well as the Molex it was connected to? I just want to know if I can reuse...

I'm pretty sure it's the 2-pin LED wire from the fan. It's looks blown up and melted inside as well. The LED is still working but now I can use system fans that aren't connected to the motherboard. Also, I have no idea how to take out the busted fan controller outside the case.

Nice looking gaming rig. I'm surprised you can get 8-13degC just by opening the door. I guess the ambient temp here is just really bad. The Noctua U14S has also been solid for me so far, although I've wanted to fit a Noctua D-15 at first except that it isn't compatible with my RAM.

I see, thanks. One last: Is there any harm/ disadvantage of connecting the case fans to the motherboard? Will 3x LED fans power draw have any effect on the mobo? Is it okay to connect a 3-pin or a 2-pin LED to a motherboard header?

I see. I just found it weird that my PSU doesn't have the cables high enough, rendering the bottom fan slot unusable. I was just looking to utilize the Fractal stock fans instead of simply putting them aside for storage. I'll try to see what I can do with the top fan.
