Of course, there's always the option to buy whatever tower air cooler then getting Noctuas to replace the fans. Noctua performance and quiet operation with less money. You can also do that on your Hyper 212 --I think I saw a few experiments on that with good improvement over stock fan.

The only issue that'll crop up is you get more dust inside. To be fair, you're supposed to dust the inside of the case regularly anyway, but having a loose filter like that just means you're going to do it more often than if the filter is tight.

It is, though you can just set a fan curve on one header then tie it to other fans. On my GB board, I can apply one curve to both of my SYS_FAN and CPU_FAN. The other guy in this forum with Asus board said his board doesn't have that feature, but given we have the same brand it should be there.
