Okay, I've successfully reset the CMOS. They didn't fix it, though. :(

I haven't done that before. I dug out my old user manual I got with the board and I can't find anything about it in the index. I looked online and it says that removing the battery and then placing it back it does it, is that true? I just want to make sure before I do anything.

I don't know the BSOD. It only rarely happens so it's unlikely I'll be able to get that info, sorry. The PSU is a Corsair Builder Series CXM 500W.
