    Question 4080 Super availability?

I'm not actually physically in USA, so going to a store is not possible, unfortunately :) EDIT: This isn't gonna help anyone, but I was able to snag a Gainward Panther locally.

    Question 4080 Super availability?

Well, the nowinstock.net site gives me preorder options on Amazon at MSRP from time to time, though not the brands/variants I want. Guess I'll have to settle for whatever preorder option I can find at MSRP.

    Question 4080 Super availability?

So I'm trying to shop for a 4080 Super, but it seems they're just not available anywhere in the US? Am I just looking in the wrong places? I've used nowinstock.net and pcpartpicker, but it seems none of them can find any 4080 Super remotely close to MSRP or at all. If that's just how it is, any...

News Here's every AIB Nvidia RTX Super GPU we know about so far

PNY has also announced they'd be releasing 40xx Super cards. Given that their XLR8's seems to have a really good cooler, I think they're worth mentioning.

News Nvidia RTX 40-series Super models revealed — 4070 Super coming Jan 17 at $599

It depends on how you look at it. For some time, the hardware manufacturers rolled out superior hardware at the same price point from time to time. I.e. the pricing policy was "midrange GPU for 1080p gaming costs $250". Then around RTX 20xx, the pricing policy changed. Now you paid extra to...

News Nvidia RTX 40-series Super models revealed — 4070 Super coming Jan 17 at $599

To be fair, the only "new" position is 4070 Super. 4070 Ti Super and 4080 Super effectively replace their non-Super variants.

News Nvidia RTX 40-series Super models revealed — 4070 Super coming Jan 17 at $599

As I understand it, the hardware part is the Optical Flow Accelerator, which is used for DLSS stuff too. Well, there are two ways to look at it, pessimistic and optimistic. Pessimistic is that nVidia first sells clearly overpriced cards to those who would buy them at that price point, and once...

News Nvidia RTX 40-series Super models revealed — 4070 Super coming Jan 17 at $599

I did look into it. As I understand it, Anti Lag is an entirely software solution, and is inferior to Reflex, albeit it does have the advantage of working in all reasonably modern DirectX games. Also I just don't like FSR tech in general, in most respects it seems like a helter skelter attempt...

News Nvidia RTX 40-series Super models revealed — 4070 Super coming Jan 17 at $599

I'm in a tough spot with this lol. I'm shopping for a new card, and $1000 is about the height of my budget. Before I learned of Supers coming, I flopped between $800 4070 Ti and $1000 7900 XTX, and ultimately decided to go with 4070 Ti due to lower latency while using framegen. The 4070 Ti...

News Nvidia RTX 40-series Super models revealed — 4070 Super coming Jan 17 at $599

Assuming 4070 Ti Super is 15% more powerful than 4070 Ti, and 4080 Super is 5% more powerful than 4080, 4080 Super would be about 12% ahead of 4070 Ti for a 25% higher price. Not the worst scaling I've seen, but not drool-inducing either.

News Nvidia teases RTX 40 Super series launch at CES — here's all of the leaked specs

Well, in regards to AMD pricing, I'd say their top two cards are pretty competitively priced, offering roughly the same performance as more expensive nVidia cards. Like, I still went with nVidia, but the pricing made me think long and hard about it. And if the rumors about MSRPs of the Super...

News Nvidia teases RTX 40 Super series launch at CES — here's all of the leaked specs

I realize that the details of the card's architecture are irrelevant to me as a consumer, it's just something that the review on this site has mentioned, that the chiplet design may actually be working against the card. And in general, I never liked the premise behind the whole chiplets +...

News Nvidia teases RTX 40 Super series launch at CES — here's all of the leaked specs

Wasn't it always like that? Take 7xx for example. GTX 770 vs GTX 780, the latter offered +15% performance for ~60% markup (400 vs 650 USD MSRP). Personally I'm pretty happy about replacing my 2070 (500 USD MSRP) with 4070 Ti Super (supposedly 800 USD MSRP), which is about 2.1x times more...

News Nvidia teases RTX 40 Super series launch at CES — here's all of the leaked specs

Just ordered a 4070 Ti a few days ago, then a friend made me realize my mistake. Luckily, was able to refund the order. Looking forward a lot to getting a 4070 Ti Super instead, hopefully it'll cost roughly the same. Low amount of VRAM was pretty much my only gripe with 4070 Ti, so the Super...
