i may have linked the wrong motherboard, but that's definitely the computer i have since I bought it from newegg. I think my hard drive is sata 2.

btw, the mother board is: lx4710 i think.

i mean what kind of cables should I buy? Because I dont see any sata connector on my mobo.

Thanks for the replies all, ironically the reason i posted this was because battlefield 3 was experiencing ridiculous load times; I just changed some settings in the nvidia control panel as recommended by another forum and it works fine now. But I'm probably going to wait for the price of ssd's...
