On psn I've seen anything from garbage AAA titles to real games going for $10-$5 with PS+. 60x6 (online for a whole generation)+the console+a controller is $720-$820. A PC that runs demanding games on ultra 60 fps is a GTX 1060+i5, Kaby Lake is coming soon so an i3 will fit well with it soon...

Is it really better to lower graphical detail in exchange for resolution? Isn't that just making a worse picture more clear? Or is the drop in graphical detail from ultra to high not a big deal thus resolution boost is superior?

I see that at 1440p you don't have to zoom in to 150% on windows to be able to fully take in text, icons, and picture. Won't zooming in at 4k just reduce clarity compared to if 4k didn't have scaling issues?

How much of a difference can there be between 1440p and 4k when 1080p already looks great and 1440p perfects that? Is the difference anything you'd notice in a blind test?
