    The RAM you put in I see is 1600Mhz? so you have a 2600Mhz Ram module somewhere It might be that the RAM modules isn't giving the correct power to help the M/B boot up

    Asus ROG maximus VI motherboards' onboard sound

    The Thing is Asus runs Realtek onboard chips.. so you wil get the standard Onboard 7.1 EXP. witch isn't bad for realtek delivers good sound on asus.. I don't have the same board but do have the same chip on my ASUS motherboard

    I would go with ASUS or GIGABYTE, Can't go wrong I use my ASUS for 4 Years now and have no probs
