Currently I have the antenna on top of my PC. The router is on the same floor maybe 30-35ft away. My PC is right on top of my desk and my door is usually open, same with the room where the router is, so there is usually very little interference.
Recently, when I'm playing online games, my wifi disconnects. It says "no internet, secured."

Okay, I just built a pc and i bought a wifi card because i dont have ethernet in my room. the wifi card is a gigabyte GC wb867d and everytime i connect i lose connection after about 5 mins. the catch is that i have an extender and i dont lose connection to that. however the speeds are way faster...
My currrent WiFi setup is not ideal. I have about a 3500 sq ft home with lots of walls and three floors. The house is very old so the walls have a material called horsehair which makes WiFi very difficult to pass through. I have a WiFi extender but that still doesn’t provide a good enough speed...
