Can't you just unsolder the existing LEDs off the fan and then put new LED there. That way, you won't need more resisters.

SATA is serial ata thus 1 to 1. It isn't like regular uata cable where you can connect 2 devices to one cable. There's always exceptions though. Some eSATA ports allow port multiplier thus can effectively double, triple, qudruple.. etc the number of devices on one cable.

Why match it with P35 when you can match it with P965. If you don't plan to upgrade after you buy the Q6600 for 1 year, then there's no point wasting money on P35 chipset. When you're overclock a Q6600, you'll rarely go beyond 450mhz FSB which a P965chipset can do easily without any voltage bump.

Can you trust rebates? Why not wait for 2 more weeks and get it for 250$?

Or you could buy Corsair XmS2 800mhz Cl5 for 80$ or Cl4 for 90$.

If you're a casual gamer, buy Celeron L 420 and overclock it to 3ghz with stock heatsink. 35W TPD, single core, 50$, a celeron.
