Is it important to get these 8 core processors for gaming PCs?

8350 is priced correctly for gaming performance. You get what you pay for, but its a great cpu and is the best you can get sub 200

Building My First PC and need a little help.

DONT BUY A COOLMAX PSU! Buy 2 ram sticks instead of one. What's your gpu? What's your hdd/ssd Motherboard is probably overkill for your budget... Get a cheaper 990FX or 970 Case probably is dependent on your gpu You have a really flawed build here imo... What's your budget?

Good Living Room Gaming PC Build?

That's a great build if you aren't interested in OC, but the video performance might lack. If you want some extra performance go with the 760, or get a 7850 or 650 ti Boost with 2gb of V-RAM, because that is what most gaming demand these days.

It's great for water cooling, cable management, and airflow, and an overall clean build, but it's not portable. Here's a build using it, it's not his though http://pcpartpicker.com/b/EhO http://pcpartpicker.com/b/Ed4 http://pcpartpicker.com/b/DD9

Had the same problem, turned out I had 3 dead dim slots, but it could be a bios issue but first try this. 1. Type "msconfig" in the search bar 2. Click "Boot" and go to advanced options 3. Make sure "Maximum Memory" isn't selected
