A 2GB card will be better than a 1GB card, because games such as SWTOR, Crysis, BF3, ARMA, and alot of other newer games eat up a lot of VRAM with max graphics settings. Heres a Radeon HD 7870 that just went on sale thats 20$ more than the Radeon HD 7850...

Yes, the Radeon HD 7770 and Radeon HD 7850 both have hdmi ports on them and you can hook them up to your tv. You will have to cut the resolution down to 720p in games to keep a good frame rate, but don't worry 720p will still look pretty well. Get the Radeon HD 7850 as it will run games really...
