It is an old acer aspire m1100 desktop and there wasnt an bios update atleast if i watched it right

So i installed ubuntu server to my usb stick and after i insterted it onto my other computer when i plug it in keyboard stops working in bios. I have googled about this and i cant seem to find anything about this. Without usb stick keyboard works normally but STRAIGHT after plugging it in...
